Online English Teacher
First, there's an interview where we talk about your background, skills, and why you want to work here. Then, HR checks your English level and any certifications you might have. The next step is to do a demo lesson, which also shows how you use the program.
- Have you taught before?
Chief Marketing Officer
I passed the HR screening at SkyPro for the Grow Director position. The HR specialist was disorganized and spent a lot of time explaining how the interview goes. In the end, I didn't have time to ask questions. I asked questions that would be better to shift to automated testing.
- Can you do percentage calculations mentally?
- Perform complex calculations under pressure.
Online ESL Teacher
The process was pretty straightforward. When I applied, I had to submit videos talking about myself, my education, experience, etc. About two days after applying, I heard back for a follow-up Skype interview and demo lesson. They told me the level of the student I'd be teaching. Two days after that, during my interview, I was asked typical questions, did my lesson, and had to explain a few words. I was told to expect feedback in about a week. A few days later, I got an email with an offer. The whole thing took about a week.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Tell me about your work experience.
- Why did you choose to apply to this company?
Product Analyst
I was given a big SQL test task on a Friday evening that was due Monday. I had to wait a week and email HR myself. She asked which vacancy I was more interested in, even though they all seemed the same. We scheduled an interview, and I waited another week. Then she emailed, saying the position was filled internally and offered an interview with another team. I interviewed and felt it went well, but after another week, I was rejected without explanation. She then ignored my polite request for feedback, which felt like a waste of my time.
- Tell me about your technical background.
- What technologies do you use?
- What's your SQL proficiency?
