Commercial Manager
First I had a chat with the manager for the teams role, then I had a face to face interview in the office where I did a task and had a 1-hour competency based interview. After that, I had a final 30-minute interview with the Head of Department, and then a tour of the campus.

Change Manager
Applied for two roles that fit my profile. For the first one, I had to record a video explaining why I want to work there, what I can contribute, and the biggest challenge I foresee. It was super awkward to record, but I did it. Then, no reply for over two weeks. I followed up and was told a few days later that I didn't make it to the next stage. Pretty disappointing since my experience seemed perfect for the job and to be rejected based on a 4-minute video felt off. Anyway, I got a call at 8 am one morning from a recruiter asking a few questions, and they said they'd schedule an interview soon. A week later, I got an email with the interview details for another week out. I was asked to prepare a presentation on four change management topics, with a note saying I'd have 15 minutes to present, but the whole interview was scheduled for 1.5 hours. I worked on the presentation, trying to align it with Sky's business based on my research. Two people interviewed me, a Senior Manager and the Head. I started my presentation but got cut off at the second to last slide, being told the 15 minutes were up. They asked if I had more to cover, I said just the final slide was left and asked if they wanted me to wrap it up. They just said 'no,' which felt a bit rude. After that, the Head said she'd read out some questions as they were complex. I felt it was a bit much having the interviewer struggle to ask a question normally and have to read it. I answered all questions without follow-ups. They mentioned the process is slow and I should expect a reply in about two weeks if I progressed. Unsurprisingly, I heard nothing, and after almost a month, I emailed for feedback, but got no reply. About a week later, I got a one-line response saying they didn't think I was a good fit. While waiting, I interviewed with six other companies, reached final stages, and got a few offers. Overall, I had higher expectations for Sky, but given this experience, I'm glad they didn't find me a good match.

Senior Manager
I started with a recruiter screen. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager and a colleague. The recruiter said it would be informal, but it wasn't at all – just question after question on the same topic, worded differently. Next, I had a face-to-face task, which felt disorganized with technical problems during my presentation. They didn't even offer me a drink before I started. After presenting, the same people from the first interview asked more questions about the task. Then, two unexpected colleagues joined, which the recruiter hadn't mentioned, and the questioning continued for 20 minutes, feeling like an interrogation. I left feeling discouraged due to the poor communication and attitudes, realizing the team wasn't a good fit. This was confirmed when the recruiter ghosted me after I asked for feedback, and I later found out through the candidate portal that I didn't get the role, which felt like a discourteous end to the process.
