First up is a 30 min call to check basic skills, why you want to work here and a quick look at your CV. Then, we'll spend an hour going through your CV and asking questions like 'tell me about a time when...'. This means we'll ask you to talk about when you've worked in a team, faced a challenge, or shown you can take initiative (use uni stuff as examples). The last question in this bit is 'If you had £10m, what would you do with it?'. After that, there's a role-play with a business scenario. Finally, you'll give a 10 min presentation on a topic you've not seen before, with 10 min to prep. Be real, be fun and show your personality if you can.

After receiving my application, I got an interview scheduled about 3 weeks later. The interview itself was open and friendly. HR and the department (2 people) were present. On the way to the meeting room, I got a first glimpse of the work environment (open-plan office). After a brief introduction round, including a self-presentation, the role and its responsibilities, as well as current company developments and the future, were discussed. The atmosphere was consistently pleasant, and I had enough opportunities to ask questions. There was a good mix of stress questions and personal questions about experience, knowledge, and interests.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied in October 2019 and went through a 4 stage interview process. The communication was good at the start, I had a telephone interview and got feedback shortly after, I then had a face to face interview with fast feedback as well. I had a telephone interview with a Product owner, I had to chase for feedback and was told that I had to carry out a task. At this point, I wondered whether I would have been contacted if I hadn't chased up. On carrying out the task, I waited for 3 weeks and chased feedback via email. I was asked to call to get the feedback. I am very disappointed because the least Sky could do is get back to candidates even if they are not being accepted. If I hadn't chased up, I would have been left in the dark on my performance. Sky really needs to improve their customer service
