I sent my application online and then got a call a few days later to set up an interview. It was a group interview, and the manager would switch up the questions a bit as they talked to us around the room, which was good because it meant no one felt pressure to repeat an answer that someone else already gave. If you can smile, laugh, and show you'll be responsible and treat customers with respect, you should be fine. Also, make sure you speak clearly and loud enough to be heard. Mumbling or being quiet won't get you a callback. Since you'll be in a noisy place with music and screaming kids on weekends, make sure your voice is ready for it when you go to the interview.

I got there right on time, but the manager still welcomed me into his office. We sat and reviewed my application. We discussed the responsibilities of a cashier there. He asked me to introduce myself. The whole interview lasted about fifteen minutes. The manager was friendly and mentioned he'd follow up by the end of the week.
