Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Skullcandy.
Marketing
It was a quick process, with three interview rounds and a homework assignment. Everyone I spoke with was friendly. I liked the homework assignment because it was practical and based on my past work, which meant it couldn't be used for future work.
- How do you stay updated on the newest marketing trends?
- After reviewing our social media, what changes would you suggest?
Marketing Executive
I had a phone interview with a recruiter, then an interview with a manager, and also had to do a task remotely within a set time. I thought it went well, but then I was totally ghosted by the company for weeks. I had to follow up a bunch, and finally got an automated email saying I was unsuccessful.
- Can you share an instance where you took the lead on a project?
Digital Marketing
The interview process lasted for 2 months and included 4 interviews. Unfortunately, I was ghosted by the company despite reaching out multiple times. While I was really excited about the opportunity, this experience left a negative impression. I hope companies can be more respectful of candidates' time.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with Ecommerce?
