I had a video chat with a recruiter who found me on LinkedIn. It was a good and informative chat. Then, I had another interview with the person who would be my manager. That interview went great, and he asked if I was free to do a project for the next stage. After that, I didn't hear from them for about 3 weeks. When I followed up, the recruiter said they were looking for someone with more experience, which I found odd because I'm a senior designer and that wasn't mentioned before.

I showed up at 5:00pm for my interview that was scheduled for 2:00pm due to a mix-up. The recruiter didn't even call or email me the whole time I was supposed to be there. Even though it was a scheduling error, the recruiter still talked to me for about 15 minutes when I arrived. We chatted briefly and decided to continue our conversation over the phone and email later since they had another commitment. The next day, I sent a follow-up email but didn't hear back. A few days after that, I sent another email asking about continuing our discussion, but still no response. I thought our initial 15-minute chat went well, so I'm not sure why they stopped communicating. They could have at least sent an email saying I wasn't a good fit instead of just ignoring me. This recruiter wasn't very responsible.

The interview process was pretty standard. It started with a phone screening, then a video call. The whole process can take 1-2 months. The video call might be with the hiring manager alone, or with two people: the hiring manager and a team member.
