Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Skanska.
Intern
It was a good interview, I felt like I did well on the questions. I'd suggest this company. They were interested in learning about me as a person and what my aspirations are. They want candidates to succeed in the interview.
- Could you share more about yourself?
Intern
First, you submit your CV on their website. Then, there's an online test covering math, English, and logic that you need to complete within a week. After that, a phone interview will happen where they ask about your experience and what you know about the company and their projects. Finally, there's a group interview, a 5-minute presentation, and a one-on-one interview. You'll get the results within a month.
- Why are you interested in Skanska?
- What do you understand about the role you're applying for?
- Can you share your leadership experience?
Intern
Around 3-4 weeks after I applied using my university connections, I got a phone call. They asked me what time next week would work for a quick phone screening, which ended up being about 15 minutes. They mentioned I'd hear back in mid-January about the next steps.
- Tell me about your favorite class.
- What's been your most enjoyed class to date?
