I had a callback interview with four attorneys from different practice areas, with each interview lasting for half an hour. It was a very casual conversation, and there weren't many difficult technical questions. However, a 2-hour interview in total is still quite exhausting.

I sent in my application online, and then a couple weeks later, the HR person reached out via email to schedule an interview. It was two 30-minute video calls happening right after each other on WebEx; one was with the manager and the other was with the HR person. They didn't end up getting back to me after that.

Since I had a referral, I was able to skip the initial phone screen and cover letter. My first step was an application form where I detailed my references and past employment history. This took a while, and I probably spent too much time on my accomplishments. Then, I had two 20-minute interviews: one with the Senior HR Specialist and another with the head of the Legal Assistant Department. After that, my contact, another legal assistant, showed me around and answered my questions. They seemed friendly and encouraging, which made it easy to work with them.
