I had 2 interviews. The first one was with a panel of 5 lawyers, and then the second one was with the partners. The first interview really dug into my CV, asking a lot of technical follow-up questions about the cases I had worked on. The questions came pretty fast, probably to see how I'd handle pressure, but it was still a polite and friendly chat. The partner interview was more about my interests, like why I'm into competition law and why I'm interested in this particular firm, and it felt more relaxed than the first one.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Could you explain your interest in competition law?
  • Please summarise your thesis and state your final conclusion.
  • Can you tell us about a case you worked on?

I met with six partners in the practice group, and each meeting lasted for thirty minutes. After an offer was made, I met with additional associates in the group for drinks, and we discussed culture and any other open questions I had on a casual basis.
