We had a HackerEarth Exam first, with an easy array question. Then came 5 rounds. Round 1 was technical, covering JS engine, polyfills, and array/string algorithms. Round 2 focused on React and CSS. There was also a managerial round about past experiences and projects. Finally, an HR round mostly about salary.

Technical Coding System Design
First, I had a recruiter call where they talked about SIXT and their tech stack. After that, HR said I had to do an online exam to be eligible for 1:1 technical discussions. The process included an online test with 2 JS programs, followed by Technical Round 1, Technical Round 2, Technical Round 3 with the Team Lead, and finally Technical Round 4 with the Manager. The manager round was a bit unusual because I was asked to write complete code from scratch in an optimized way, and the manager mentioned they weren't great at JS and disliked pseudo-code. Near the end, the manager asked if I'd take a full-stack role (Java + React, JS), which I declined, but I confirmed my interest in Node + React or any frontend tech.

I had a video interview with HR and then another video interview with two people from the team. After a long wait, I received a decision. I was really excited about the role and the company, but their behavior made me happy to get a negative response. Both my interviews went really well, so I was shocked by the negative outcome. I asked HR for feedback, and they just said, 'You don't have enough experience for this position.' This role was supposed to be for someone getting their first experience, and I have years of industry experience.
