My interview process was a very welcoming experience. I first got an email with interview date options and times for a virtual interview, which went well and felt comfortable. Then, I was contacted later for an in-person interview at the job site, which also went very well. I was told to expect a follow-up phone or text within 24 hours, and that went well too. I received a call from a Regional Supervisor who gave me the good news that my application and resume were accepted. I received such a great welcome from Sixt Car Rental. Best wishes.

So I applied online and then a recruiter called me for a phone screen. After that, I had an in-person interview with the general manager. About halfway through, another manager joined and asked some questions too. The interview wrapped up with a role-play where I had to act like I was checking in a car that the customer smoked in. The next day, the recruiter called and invited me for a '1 hour shadow' of the role, saying it usually ends with an offer. The shadow actually took nearly 3 hours. A different manager gave me a tour and explained the job. While we watched the CSAs, none of them seemed to be doing the check-in correctly; they were slow, quiet, had hoods up, and looked uninterested. The manager I shadowed introduced me to the whole team as the new CSA and was positive about our time. Then I had to wait 30 minutes for the general manager to finish his lunch. He asked if I was still interested, I said yes, and he said he'd check with the shadowing manager and they'd get back to me the next day. Two days later, I got an email saying I wasn't selected.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process is really long. After applying, I got an email saying they were interested in a chat, but then nothing happened for two months. I emailed HR several times to follow up, but got no reply. When I finally heard back and set up a Teams call interview, I wasn't that impressed with the person I spoke to. They didn't really promote the company or apologize for the long delay. Overall, the communication from HR was poor and they seemed to lack organizational skills. If this is how they recruit, I'd say stay away! It was a waste of time.
