The first interview was a pleasant and informative chat with the HR manager. Before the second interview, I had to do an online reasoning assessment. The second interview was in person with the same HR manager and some sales managers. The vibe there seemed really fun and enjoyable. They talked more about the training, my role, and what my daily tasks would be.

I sent in my application online and received a call a few hours later for a preliminary interview. After that, I scheduled an interview at their Dallas office, which lasted about two hours. First, I met with an HR person, and then the Sales Team Leader joined us. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed and friendly throughout the whole interview. The HR representative used some of the time to tell me about the job and the company, then asked me some standard questions about my background.

Behavioral Presentation

After submitting my CV and cover letter, I heard back in about a week with a link for an automated video interview via HireVue. The interview had 10 questions total, with five written answers and five video answers. You have a limited time to respond to each. They asked basic questions about why I want to work there, my achievements, strengths, etc. There were no technical questions about the company or the job itself. One question asked me to sell a recent destination I'd visited. The interview felt quite impersonal, and honestly, I didn't feel there was enough time to say anything significant, especially since HireVue often cuts responses even below the average three minutes. You can use your phone, tablet, or computer with a webcam, either through the app or a direct link. I was honestly expecting a bit more engagement from a company like Siteminder.
