The interview process spanned about two months, featuring a significant break between the four interviews. It began with foundational questions about my experience and the tools I've used. Following this, I completed a take-home project and went through three more interviews. These later interviews focused on the project's development choices and assessed my engineering capabilities. The process concluded with a straightforward collaboration and behavioral assessment.

Applied online and went through a one-way video interview where I had to answer 6 questions. Got ghosted after that. The interview questions seemed more like an extension of the resume screening and a check on my agile experience/knowledge. Some questions had a tight time limit to record the answer.

My offer was pulled back just 2 days before I was supposed to start. The interviews were fine, but the hiring process was messy, unprofessional, and frankly, disrespectful. After I followed up a bunch and the hiring manager pushed it, I finally got an offer letter 2.5 weeks after accepting verbally and past the expected start date. It was even wrong, listing a different state for work. After they fixed it and I signed and did most of the onboarding stuff, I got a blunt email saying my offer was rescinded because of bad behavior during the hiring process. This was sent right before 5 PM on a Friday. I tried contacting everyone I spoke with for answers, but they were clearly told to stop talking to me and gave no help. I only got one response the next day from the same person saying I was rude to an employee. This might be about an unexpected call I got on a Saturday afternoon when I was eating and sounded annoyed because the person didn't respect that I told them I was busy. This was FIVE days before the offer was taken back. The whole thing wasted my time and several employees' time. As weeks passed, I could hear the frustration in employees' voices about internal systems and slow management. Some even told me directly, which confirmed the unprofessionalism. The timing and reason for pulling the offer feel like an excuse for a messed-up hiring process. It definitely left a bad impression, and it's a shame the company put me and their lower management in such an awkward spot. Probably dodged a bullet.
