I had to do 7 or 9 recordings on HireVue first, answering basic questions about my interest in the role, what I knew about SiriusXM, and why I thought I was a good fit. Then, a recruiter emailed me to set up a Zoom interview with the hiring manager, which was cool because it was with the actual manager, not HR. The Zoom chat was pretty casual, a good chance to learn more about the job, ask stuff, and get to know the manager. A few weeks later, I got a call with an offer for one of the 7 jobs I applied for. It was a good experience, SiriusXM seems excited to have me, and I'm really looking forward to it!

The process was definitely very quick. After applying I received a call from HR the next day and had a phone interview. I was then called in to have a one-on-one interview at the office. When I got there, I was actually meeting with two people, not just one and both individuals were very unorganized. The first person I met with had scheduled a meeting during the time he was supposed to be interviewing me, so he was on a call via headset the whole time and would zone out and stare at the wall or the ceiling as I was answering a question or asking one. The other person who interviewed me was unaware that she was going to be doing this, so she had nothing prepared to ask me and essentially just went through my resume and asked me to explain everything. I found it to be completely unprofessional and it led to me declining the offer.

I applied for the Sirius marketing internship online via my university portal. A few hours after submitting my application, I got a phone call where they asked some really basic questions about my resume. Then, we set up an in-person interview for the next week. When I got to their office (which was seriously impressive, probably the best I've seen), I was interviewed by both the hiring manager and another intern. They went over my resume again and asked about my post-college aspirations. After a few simple questions, they gave me a tour of the office, including both floors. Afterward, I met with just the hiring manager upstairs. She asked me standard interview questions about my past experience, my motivation for interning at Sirius, and my personal strengths. She then let me ask her questions. After that, she walked me downstairs, and the interview was done. A couple of weeks later, I got an email saying they'd hired someone with more experience but encouraged me to apply again for the summer.
