I applied for this internship in the summer and the recruiter called me back the same day. But, I didn't get a follow-up call after that. I think she could tell I was nervous. It seems like a straightforward process. If you don't get this internship, learn from what went wrong and try again. I'll be doing the same.

I sent in my application through the SiriusXM website for the fall 2012 semester. Around the second week of August, I got a call for a quick phone chat with the person in charge of the internship program. She first asked if I was still in school and if I could get course credit for the internship, then we quickly talked about my background. She mentioned that if I didn't hear back within a week, I should give her a call. About seven days later, I got an email from the finance director to schedule an interview. I ended up talking to two different people that day, and about a week after that, they offered me the job.

i had a phone interview with the hr director, asking about my background, experience, and personal preferences. a week later, i was invited for a 1-hour onsite interview with a business operations specialist. i got an offer via email the same day.
