Started with an HR screen where they did most of the talking and explained the role. Then had a 45-minute chat with the hiring manager, who spoke for about 20 minutes before asking a few questions and continuing to talk. Following that were multiple days of panel interviews. These included a project manager, product owner, two technical folks, and a Senior Director. Things were going well until the final day. The technical team went really deep into technical details, more than anticipated for a director-level position, and I didn't perform as well as I'd hoped. After that, a Sr Director focused a lot on my previous layoff (which was part of a larger wave of cuts). She didn't seem to grasp that it wasn't my fault. I was disappointed by the lack of empathy and understanding. If this is how they treat candidates, I can only imagine how they treat current employees. As expected, given the unprofessional nature of the interview, I was ghosted. You might think it's silly, but I canceled my SiriusXM subscription because of the way I was treated; I don't want to do business with or work for a company like that.

I had a screening call and then a zoom interview with managers and producers. It was easy but the people interviewing me were very cold and emotionless. They gave off the impression that they had no desire to be there and barely listened to what I had to say. They also pay you close to nothing and only hire you part time so it was impossible to accept the offer to work in NYC or DC on less than $400 a week.

It was a really conversational interview, more about them getting a feel for me as a person rather than my qualifications. They didn't have solid answers for my career projection questions. Overall, it was a good experience though.
