Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Singapore Airlines.
Specialist
The interview process is pretty straightforward, with 3 rounds involving different levels of personnel, including HR, a team member, and the Vice President. Make sure to back up your claims with evidence if you want to get hired. Do your research on the company.
- Can you tell me about your relevant experience?
Specialist
The first round was with the Manager and VP and it went well 'cause they were understanding. The second round was with an SVP who was a bit elitist and doubted my background 'cause I didn't go to NTU/NUS. They scheduled the interviews quickly, finishing both within a week. After that, you gotta wait up to 6 weeks for results. HR just tells you to wait when you follow up. So, don't bet on this company, look for other jobs too.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What's your understanding of this role?
- Could you explain your decision to not attend NTU/NUS?
Specialist
There were two interview rounds. In each round, you met with one HR person and one person from the division you applied to. They asked standard questions. The hiring decision is mostly based on character fit.
- What makes you want to join SIA?
