First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Simplify Healthcare.
Business Analyst
The interview process involved a group discussion (GD) with about 20 participants. Those selected from the GD then moved on to a one-on-one technical round. After that, there was a scenario-based assessment, followed by an HR interview to discuss terms and conditions.

Simplify Healthcare's interview process was top-notch, really well-organized from start to finish. They kept me in the loop on timelines, and everything moved along smoothly without any annoying hold-ups, which was great. What really stood out was how the leadership team interacted. It wasn't just an interview; it felt like a real conversation where they were genuinely curious. They explained the company's business, where it stands in the market, and the actual challenges they're tackling. This honesty built a lot of trust and gave me a clear picture of what success in the job would entail. The talks were super practical and thoughtful, not just theoretical stuff. They were really open to questions and gave honest, detailed answers, making it feel more like a partnership than a typical interview. It definitely showed a strong leadership culture and a lot of confidence. All in all, it was a seamless, open, and respectful experience. Left me with a fantastic impression of Simplify Healthcare.

Machine Learning Engineer
Got a call from a recruiter to set up an interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was super disrespectful and rude, honestly the worst interviewer I've met in my 12 years working. This guy just wanted to show off how much smarter he was than everyone else and literally told me to my face that I was rejected. Honestly, it's a good thing I got rejected because it really shows what a toxic place this is. It was a horrible 8-minute call. They scheduled a video interview, but the interviewer didn't even bother to turn on his camera. Zero basic courtesy.

Senior Software Engineer
The interview experience was really disappointing. They had me travel for 6 hours for a face-to-face interview. I had a great technical interview with a senior developer that lasted about 1.5 hours, and I passed it. Then came the terrible Mettl test. I suggest the Simplify interview designers use their brain. If you ask people to travel to your office, conduct a technical interview first, and then give a machine test that judges software engineers, why not make the machine test the first eliminator? Why conduct it after they've come to your office and cleared the technical interview? Does that make sense? It's stupid. So I took the machine test with 2 programming questions. I couldn't use Console.Write to check values because there was no option to see the output. It was a bizarre machine test. After finishing, the HRs, who seemed disengaged, told me my score was not enough. I was shocked because I had cleared the technical interview covering ASP.Net, MVC, Asp.net Core, OOP concepts, MSSQL, Javascript, JQuery, and real-time scenarios. Then they just thanked me for coming. It was a horror. PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR PROCESS!!!!!!
