Applied online. Got a call from HR to set up an interview. Had a technical exam (Java tricks, SQL, EJB, Hibernate). Then a technical interview. Then a second technical interview. Lastly, an HR interview (English and Arabic). All interviews were on the same day, which isn't the usual setup.

I applied online on arrow's website, then HR called me about a week after. A team leader contacted me later to set up an interview that was 1.5 hours long, done online with two engineers. The interview involved typical questions about Java, design patterns, threading, Spring, and databases. They asked general questions and then detailed follow-ups based on my answers, requiring in-depth knowledge. A few days later, another engineer scheduled a 30-minute manager interview with me. This interview had technical questions, but less so than the first, and focused more on career aspects. None of the interviews involved problem-solving, only theoretical questions. After waiting a couple of weeks and following up via email, I was told the position was no longer open.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • Can you list and explain some design patterns, including the rationale for their use?
  • What are the primary advantages of using Spring?
  • Could you define IOC?

Applied online, took about 2 weeks. Had an online interview in May 2022 that lasted 1 hour with three engineers. They started by asking about my experience, then moved to tech questions on Angular, .Net frameworks, database issues and fixes, and design patterns/architectures (pros & cons). They also asked if I'd work with legacy tech. A few days later, another engineer contacted me for a 30-minute manager interview. This included technical questions, but focused more on career, agile, and start date. My notice period (2 months) seemed to be an issue for them.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • Can you talk about Agile?
  • What about CI/CD?
  • Observable vs Promise?
