The recruiters were very nice and helpful, answering my questions and making me feel comfortable. I just wish I'd had more of a chance to talk about myself though. The interviewer spent a good amount of time talking about the company, which was informative.

I had a first chat with the hiring manager, then a recruiter reached out. After that, I had a session with some colleagues from different teams, and finally, I met with a panel of analysts. The people were nice, but the whole thing took more than two months from start to finish.

It began with an HR phone call, likely a basic screening since the questions were pretty general. Then, a manager called me a couple weeks later, and the questions got more technical. I talked about my past work, and it seemed to go well. A few weeks after that, I had to go to their San Francisco office for an in-person interview. Five people interviewed me, and they tested me on the spot with stuff like discounted cash flows, figuring out VC financing rounds and dilution, estimating US consumer product markets, and some really weird questions like 'Why are manholes round?', 'Why are pizza boxes square?', estimating US flights in the air, and total US freeway length. I didn't get the job because I lacked experience, but it was a good interview, and I liked those strange, thought-provoking questions.
