The whole thing took 6 weeks. The recruiter told me there would be a recruiter screen, then an interview with a manager, then a second interview with two people. I passed all of those. While I was waiting to hear back, they told me about a surprise final interview with another manager. I thought that was a good sign even though it was already 5 weeks in. On the day of that interview, they canceled it because they weren't sure if they needed another person for the role. They said the interviews went well the whole time, even after canceling the last one. I'm not sure if they just didn't want me and didn't want to say it, or if their process is just really confusing and slow. I wouldn't recommend it.

A recruiter from Boston Private contacted me on LinkedIn about SVB's acquisition and the expansion of their private wealth management business. I successfully passed the initial recruiter phone screen and the hiring manager interview. The subsequent interview was initially missed by the interviewer, requiring a reschedule. Unfortunately, the make-up interview also seemed to be a no-show, but the interviewer eventually called late, apologized, and at the end of our conversation, mentioned that the final steps would likely involve in-person interviews. However, after that, I was completely ghosted, and despite reaching out to the recruiter and interviewers, I received no response or even a rejection notice. It felt quite disrespectful.

There were 3 rounds of interview over Zoom call. The first round was a technical interview with the Lead Analyst and Manager. The second round was also a technical interview with the Senior Manager. The third round was with a Manager from the onshore team in the US. You will be asked to walk through your profile. In the final round, behavioral questions were asked.
