Validation Engineer
I had 3 interviews in 1 day for this position, lasting around 2.5 hours. I interviewed with the Senior Staff Validation Engineer, Associate Staff Validation Engineer, and Senior Engineering Manager. The questions covered school learning, work experience, and relevant skillsets. There was also a C Programming coding test and a basic semiconductor test involving electric diagrams. It was pretty intense for new grads.
- Can you tell me about your school projects?
- What can you tell me about the electric diagram shown and its results?
Validation Engineer
It was a really smooth interview process. They were upfront about the role and the whole hiring timeline. Everyone I talked to, both engineers and HR, communicated well and got back to me quickly.

Design Verification Engineer
The interview process had one phone interview, followed by an onsite interview which consisted of eight 45-minute stages. The interviewers were friendly and stuck to their schedule. Many questions focused on my past experience, especially regarding testbench bring-up, so there were many questions about UVM and how to use it. They gave me a sample program and asked for its output, and also asked about test plans and approaches for simple memory read/write operations.
