I applied on Thursday morning. By Monday, I had already completed two phone screenings and a video interview. The following Wednesday, they flew me out to their office and booked me a hotel for the night. The interview itself was all day Thursday. The communication throughout was really quick and polite. During the interview, I met with 6 different people, one after another. These included potential colleagues from both software and hardware teams, as well as managers. It was a long day, but it was a good chance for me (and them) to see if it was a good fit. The technical questions were pretty standard, meant to check my knowledge and how I'd approach problems that aren't typical textbook questions. The general questions focused mainly on my resume and were easy to answer well.

I got this interview through the campus career fair. It was a half-hour technical interview that took place on campus. We started by going over my previous experience. He then asked me about digital design and pattern detection. Specifically, he gave me a sequence of inputs and asked me to detect '01001'. After that, he asked about analog circuits. He drew a low-pass filter circuit and presented a step function as input, asking me to describe the output.

I talked to someone at an info session and got offered a screening interview for a full-time gig. They mostly hire masters students, but I was applying as a bachelor's candidate. The interviewer was super helpful and guided me through the questions when I got stuck.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • He asked me to find the impedance of a series resistor and inductor configuration.
  • He then asked me to find the impedance of a parallel resistor and inductor configuration.
  • He asked me to draw the Bode plot for these configurations.
