The whole interview experience was excellent. The process was quick, and there were three main stages, all of which were clearly explained. I got a PDF before the first in-person interview detailing the entire process. Clare was really responsive and friendly, making everything easy. There were two technical parts to the interview. The questions were interesting and challenging but not overly difficult. My day-to-day work experience prepared me well for the coding questions, and nothing too strange was asked. It was good to be challenged, as it shows the standard for engineers at Signifyd and gives confidence that you'll be working with great people. Feedback and responses after each stage were prompt, which was helpful. The interviewers tried to make me feel comfortable and guided me when I was going in a direction that might be too time-consuming for an interview but good for production. I was happy with the process from beginning to end.

I first got an email from a recruiter to set up a call. After we chatted, they sent over a coding challenge that was a Java project and I had 2 hours to complete it. Once I passed that, I had a 1 hour hangout interview where I had to code on Hackerrank and answer some background questions. The next day, the recruiter called to let me know they went with another candidate.

I had an informal introductory call with the Signifyd recruiter about my background and projects. The recruiter outlined the subsequent steps and contacts. I was told I'd hear back within two days, but after a week I emailed for an update with no response. Another week passed, and a second follow-up email also received no reply. Eventually, I got an automated rejection. I felt this was unprofessional, as a simple notification would have sufficed.
