After applying, I got an email asking me to record a video answering some questions. After sending that in, I had a casual chat with an HR person about my career aspirations and past experiences. Unfortunately, I didn't move forward after that.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied online and heard back from the recruiter about three weeks later. They invited me to a virtual interview with what they said was two team members, but it turned out to be three. This lack of honesty was a bit concerning. The interview, scheduled for 45 minutes, went over an hour because one person was late. This felt disrespectful of my time. The next week, the recruiter called to say the team liked my work and discussed salary. We agreed on a figure, and she promised to update the team and get back to me. The next day, she asked for more work samples, which I sent right away. Then, nothing. I emailed a week later for feedback, and my email was ignored. I realized I had been ghosted. It was disappointing because I admired their DEI work. I wish they'd just told me if I wasn't selected instead of ghosting me after requesting more materials and confirming mutual interest. Their poor communication and disrespect for my time showed a lack of professionalism. Hiring is a two-way street, and companies that treat candidates well attract good people. The job is still open months later, which might say something.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied through LinkedIn and the head recruiter reached out. We had a phone screening, and then they set up my first virtual interview. Both virtual interviews went really well, and I got to the final in-person interview where I met the CFO, COO, and Co-CEOs. That was also a good experience with great talks, and I felt super confident afterwards. It did take almost a month to hear back after the 3 interviews though, and they ended up going with the person who had been covering the role temporarily for a few months.

The Talent Acquisition Manager reached out to me and I had my first interview with her. After that, she set up a second interview with her and two managers. The plan was for a third interview with the rest of the team, but I never heard back after the second interview, nor did I get a rejection. I was bummed about not getting any kind of follow-up, especially since they contacted me first and they have a person just for hiring. The job title also seemed a bit off compared to what's usual in the industry, and the pay they mentioned was more like what an entry-level project manager would get.
