After an initial screening, there was a notable lack of follow-up. The recruiter seemed new and needed direction, so I ended up leading the discussion. I sent follow-up emails but got no reply. To the hiring team: please be more respectful and considerate to candidates. The job search is tough enough without being ghosted.

I found Sigma through a recruiter and was super excited to learn more about the company. Right from the jump, the interview process was a mess. I asked about how many rounds there would be and what the process was like, and they said they weren't sure and would let me know as we went. They'd schedule an interview, I'd join the zoom, and then get an email saying they needed to reschedule. I started interviewing in May and went through 4 rounds of interviews with really good feedback. After the 4th round, they said the interview went extremely well and they'd get back to me with next steps the following Friday. Friday came and went, so I followed up the week after they said they'd reply. The recruiter told me she hadn't heard back from Sigma and would follow up and get back to me. They didn't get back to me by the agreed date. Then a few weeks later, they reached out saying they had new leadership on the CS team and needed to schedule interviews with them. After several follow-ups with the recruiter saying they weren't sure when they could do the interview, I just gave up. They reached back out in September (4 months after I started interviewing with them) asking me to meet additional leaders. I joined the scheduled zoom, waited 15 minutes, and then got an email saying they needed to reschedule. The interview was finally rescheduled two weeks later. For the first few minutes, the interviewer talked a lot about how great of a leader he is. Even with his arrogance, the interview went well, he told me I did great and wanted to schedule a panel interview as a next step. A week goes by and I hear nothing, so I reached out to the recruiter who said she'd check in with the CS team and get back to me. Another week passes. I follow up with the recruiter again and get no response. I send the interviewer an email and get no response. If this is how CS manages recruiting, then the Customer Success team at Sigma must be a joke and I'm glad I didn't get an offer.

I was approached by an external recruiter for the role. The process had 4 steps, and they were all scheduled pretty quickly. I thought the interviewers were really engaging and kind.
