For the Lead Software Engineer role, I went through three rounds at Siemens. First, there were two technical interviews that really dug into .NET, how I approach problems, and system design. Then, I had a managerial interview where we talked about my past experience, what I did on projects, how I work with others, and if I'd be a good fit.

So basically this was part of the on-campus hiring process. After the online assessment, there were two main rounds. The first one was a technical interview, and then there was a final HR round. The technical part covered stuff like Data Structures and Algorithms, and also computer fundamentals including operating systems, networking, and database management systems. They also asked me about my prior internship experiences.

Behavioral

Applied for student software developer positions at Siemens Healthineers in Košice, Slovakia, but the experience was disappointing. Despite having qualifications and relevant experience, no interview invitations were received. For some roles, a generic email arrived after about a month stating: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the role of Software Developer has been withdrawn." For other positions, the application status remained stuck in "In Process (Recruiter)" for weeks with no updates or communication. The hiring process lacked transparency and feedback, which was frustrating and disheartening.
