Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Siemens Healthineers.
Graduate Program
Applied via the Siemens website and was then asked to complete a Hirevue video interview, which lasted about 15 minutes and covered basic behavioral questions. Approximately a week later, I was invited to an Assessment Day at the head office, with Siemens covering all expenses, including international flights. There were 5 candidates and 4 HR facilitators for the full-day interview. The day began with a short introduction, followed by a 5-minute presentation from each candidate on a pre-emailed topic (e.g., future company outlook). Subsequently, we participated in a group case study with a presentation, then underwent two separate behavioral interviews and an individual role-play simulating a customer interaction. Despite an overwhelmingly positive experience, I was not selected. The facilitators were skilled at making candidates feel comfortable and building rapport to understand motivations and team fit. Key advice: Practice your presentation timing to stay within the limit. Extensive company research (product lines, financials, growth trends, strategy) is unnecessary, as it wasn't relevant to the questions asked. For the case study, focus not only on completing the task but also on observing and evaluating group dynamics and collaboration.
- What is your assessment of the performance during the case study?

Fantastic, best twenty minutes of my life. I would strongly recommend. Lots of jumping and singing and dancing.Fantastic, best twenty minutes of my life. I would strongly recommend. - Are you any good at your job?
Graduate Program
I was contacted at a job fair and had a phone call a week later to go over my resume. After that, I had to complete some online tests including logical, verbal, numerical, and personality assessments. About a month later, I got some good feedback and was invited to the assessment day, along with 7 other finalists. The assessment day happened a month after that. It was focused solely on soft skills and ran from 9am to 5pm. It involved giving a presentation, doing a roleplay, individually analyzing a business case, and a group debrief. The last part was like speed-jobdating with other assessors. I received feedback 48 hours later, which was negative.
- What role do you usually take in a team setting?
