It was a normal conversation at eye level. A tour of the company was declined. The qualifications were asked about in the smallest detail. Preparing for an interview: 7 tips for employers. There were three rounds in total. The first was a video call with the hiring manager, lasting about an hour. He started with a presentation about the company and his team, then asked some questions about my CV, background, and technical stuff. He said I'd hear back by the end of the week, but I got an email the next day for the second interview. The second interview was in person with the hiring manager, an HR person, and the hiring manager's boss. I had to give a 10-minute presentation on a topic of my choice, which the hiring manager had told me about beforehand. They asked a lot about my background, challenges, and project management. The questions weren't too tough, actually pretty easy. They told me I'd hear by Friday if I moved on. The next day, the hiring manager called to say I was going to the final phase. The last interview was an hour long with the hiring manager's boss's boss, three levels up. The director who interviewed me was really experienced and asked some tough questions; the interview was hard overall, and I couldn't answer some of them. They only bring candidates to this stage if they're serious about making an offer, so it's mainly a final check to see if the director agrees with the others. If you get this far, you're almost hired. I asked about a response, and he said by the beginning of next week. The next day, bright and early, the hiring manager emailed saying the director approved my hiring and they'd make an offer.

Had three technical rounds, two with the Indian team and one with the Germany partner team, then an HR discussion.
