After the in person assessment centre, there was a short, 15-20 minute online interview. It seemed to be set up to confirm the hiring decisions made at the assessment centre, as it was brief and focused on competencies rather than technical skills.

Technical Case

I had a first round tech interview that went well. The next step was supposed to be a case study where I'd be given a dataset and a problem statement. However, after that, the HR never got back to me to schedule the second round. I sent multiple emails, but the HR just ghosted me and I later found out they gave the position to someone else. They could have at least let me know the position was filled.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview was a two-day online event where I presented myself and met the team. Everyone seemed nice. The questions weren't super detailed and there weren't any technical tests; it was more about discussing my past projects. I felt like the questions sometimes focused more on the interviewers' expertise rather than my skills and what I could contribute. Although the initial process was quick, it then stalled for months. Eventually, I got an automatic rejection email, saying they couldn't provide personal feedback due to too many candidates. This was after I had already prepared a presentation and spent two days on calls. I'm not upset about not getting the offer, but this experience makes me hesitant to reapply. It makes me wonder about the company culture and if I missed out on a good opportunity.
