Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Siemens Energy.
Field Service Engineer
Good process, a bit slow but moves forward with clarity and good communication. Don't get desperate, it's hard to contact HR people for follow-up, they are usually external. And they don't have all the information to provide clear guidance on the status or decision.
- Previous jobs and professional and economic expectations
Field Engineer
Applied online, and the whole process took about 2 months. It was a bit low on pay, but the technology was advanced. Everything went smoothly until the final stage, where I unfortunately didn't make it. It involved a classic 'bunny joke' type of question. We parted ways amicably, but I wouldn't recommend this company to others. I've since accepted another job offer.
- Could you describe your past positions, including your responsibilities and duties?
Applications Engineer
The usual process, they called to schedule an in-person interview. Then I went for a panel interview on-site. They asked a bunch of questions about my subject matter expertise and job performance. It was scheduled for an hour, but since it went well, it ended up being about 1.5 to 1.75 hours.
- Can you tell me about your past experience with the product?
