Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Siemens Energy.
Project Engineer
Had a virtual interview with the hiring manager and a technical SME. They asked me some technical questions about Siemens' manufacturing process. I was asked to prepare a 10-minute presentation beforehand, but they never actually asked to see it, which felt like a waste of my time.
- Could you prepare and present a 10-minute presentation on a subject of your choosing?
Commissioning Engineer
The interview experience was pleasant and easy to navigate, with very friendly staff making me feel comfortable. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it was not overly technical, with a natural and engaging conversation flow.
- What is your understanding of firewall systems?
- Do you have any experience working with Linux?
Senior Engineer
The process was quick. Two weeks after applying, the department head who was hiring called me. During the interview, they asked me about my current job, why I wanted to change jobs, and about my experience and knowledge in wind turbines.
- Why do you want to change jobs?
