Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Siegel+Gale.
Intern
I applied online and was contacted in under a week. I was impressed by the company's efficiency. The HR screening was a few days late, but the interviewer was nice and engaging. I was told there was another candidate ahead of me, but I might be eligible for a summer position and would know in a week. This was a professional and courteous gesture. One week passed, then two, then two months. I sent two follow-up emails and got no reply. This was disappointing from a company I respected. For a company that values simplicity, treating candidates respectfully seems simple. Please improve.
- What salary do you require?
Intern
It was a pretty standard interview process. Started with a recruiter chat, then I spoke with the hiring manager, and finally met with the team. They kept me updated the whole time and talking to the team helped me see if I'd be a good fit for the job and the company culture.
- Can you tell me about a brand you like and the reasons behind your interest?
Intern
For me, the interview process was pretty relaxed. There were two interviews, and we talked about the position and how I could see myself fitting into the role. They also reviewed my resume, writing, and experience.
