The interview process was amazing! First, I had a chat with HR who was super nice and asked about my background and why I was interested in Siege. They also gave me a project to do which involved some simple questions and writing the first 200 words of a blog post. Then, I talked to 3 managers/directors who were really nice and knew a lot. They asked me a bunch about my media outreach experience and some basic SEO stuff. They seemed really interested and were happy to share their own experiences at Siege and why they've liked working there (everyone I talked to has been there for over 3 years). Sadly, I accepted another offer, but it was an AMAZING interview experience and I'm sure I would have been happy at Siege too.

First, there was a 45 min phone screening with HR. Right after that, I had a 2 hour project to complete. The last step, which might have been the final one, consisted of 3 interviews, each lasting 30 minutes, with different team members. Everyone was nice, but I thought the final step was a bit much. It seemed like no one had looked at my resume or my work, and I felt like they were only seeing parts of my work instead of the whole picture. They definitely seem to have a lot of interviewers. I didn't hear back after that. I sent a nice email a few weeks later and still got no reply. I get that hiring is busy, but after investing 5 hours and meeting multiple people, I think a quick email update is the least they could do. They're a marketing company, so they should know how to automate that.

First I applied, then they emailed me about a writing test. It was timed, I had to write the beginning of a blog post. After they reviewed it, they invited me for an interview. The interview was with 3 employees, they seemed totally uninterested and gave me blank stares the whole time. I really hope I don't get hired by them.
