Game Tester
Right after applying, I was sent a TestGorilla language assessment. I had 48 hours to get started on it. The test covered computer skills, English C2 level, and also stuff specific to LQA like Idioms, Grammar, and Spelling. A cool thing was that I could cover or even turn off the webcam. But, the time limits were super tight for how hard the questions were, and I had to do this technical assessment without knowing anything about the salary or the offer. Just a heads up, you need at least 70% in each part to move on.
- How about LQA Idioms?
- What about English C2?
- Can you tell me about LQA Grammar?

The hiring process had some bumps from the start. The interview got pushed back three times. One time, I was actually on the call when we were supposed to talk, and nobody showed up or let me know. A few days later, I got a message asking if I wanted to reschedule. Even with that, things moved on to the last interview. In the last meeting, they said I'd start in early February and that I'd get feedback the week after. But that didn't happen. It's been almost two weeks since that date, and I haven't heard back, even after sending polite follow-ups. The start date has passed without any news. No matter what they decide, the lack of communication, especially after setting clear expectations about feedback and start dates, shows they aren't very organized or considerate of a candidate's time and situation. A simple update, even if it was bad news or about a delay, would have made a big difference.

Game Tester
There were two rounds to the interview. The first round was an aptitude test, and the second round was a face-to-face interview. The first round was all about verbal aptitude, where they gave some grammar-based questions and asked us to write an essay on games. In the second round, they asked about the games mentioned and more about games, plus questions on manual testing.
- Can you explain the bug life cycle?
- Could you explain performance testing?
