Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sia.
Associate Consultant
The interview process was pleasant, with 4 interviews that flowed smoothly and quickly. The first was a classic HR motivational interview with a short English exchange. The second was with a senior consultant, involving a case study where precise answers weren't expected, but good reasoning was. A third interview with a manager challenged my motivations and specific interests in the business unit. The final in-person interview was with a Partner, mainly focused on fit, with no traps.
- What is your understanding of our company?
Change Management Consultant
I went through 2 interviews for this role, the second one was scheduled really close to the Christmas holidays. The interviewer seemed completely uninterested, which was pretty disappointing given the timing. After that, there was just silence from their end – no updates, no communication at all. Very unprofessional.
- Can you tell me about the most recent change management project you completed?
Business Consultant
It was a 4 step interview process. First, I had an interview with HR who talked about the company, my career, motivations, and expectations. That lasted an hour. Then, I interviewed with practice leaders and the head of the Benelux office. These interviews were more hands-on, asking detailed questions about my past experiences, like how I handled certain situations. Each of these lasted about 2 hours. The process was pretty flexible; when I asked to meet one more person before making a decision, they were totally fine with it. Everyone I met was really nice and professional. They were good at explaining the job and were upfront about the pros and cons, and what the firm expects, which was better than some other places I talked to. Overall, it was a good experience.
- What are your strategies for managing challenging client interactions?
- In what ways can your past experience benefit our organization?
