First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SHRM.
CRM Specialist
Had a phone screen with a recruiter about the job. They asked me general questions about my past work, gave a quick rundown of the position, and threw in some questions specifically about customer relationship management. The whole thing took about 20 minutes.
- Can you describe the most challenging integration project you've encountered?
Specialist
The interview process involved four separate 30-minute Zoom calls with different people. It kicked off with a recruiter meet and greet, followed by interviews with management. Each interview was on a separate day, not all back-to-back.
- Can you describe your process for developing and measuring the success of a marketing campaign?
- What specific skills do you have that would make you a good fit for this position?
- Could you list some marketing tools you're familiar with?
Specialist
This took about 2 months. First, an HR screening call. Then, a virtual interview, followed by 3 in-person interviews. I had to pay for parking myself. They told me over the phone that I wasn't chosen.
- Can you discuss your experience with SHRM's Guiding Principles?
