So I had 3 interviews. It started with a phone call with the HR recruiter, then another call with the location manager, and the last one was a video interview with the hiring manager and two other people from the company. Each one was about 45 minutes to an hour. The video interview ended with them asking for writing samples, which the HR recruiter was supposed to coordinate. After that, it was just silence for 3.5 weeks. They totally ignored my emails and calls. Finally, weeks later, I got an automated email saying thanks for my time. I get that they want the best person, but this whole process was super unprofessional and rude. I still believe in what Shorelight does and wish them well, but they could have handled this way better.

I applied online and heard back about two weeks later for a first chat with a recruiter. After that, the recruiter wanted me to meet the hiring manager, so we set up a phone interview even though we were in the same city. It was about 45 minutes long, and the hiring manager said I was a good fit. She mentioned there would be two more rounds if I moved on, and she'd get back to me within a week. Then nothing. I waited three weeks and followed up with the recruiter, who was surprised I hadn't heard anything and apologized, saying the hiring manager was out of the country but she didn't know. She promised to follow up ASAP. Still nothing. I reached out again to see where things stood, as I was looking at other offers. She said they weren't ready to offer yet and the hiring manager was still interviewing, two months after my initial interview. She told me to do what's best for me and she'd let me know about any updates. I never heard back.

I had a conversation with an internal recruiter. It was a very nice, casual, and pleasant chat. They asked me to talk about my experience in detail and then provided information about the company, the specific opening, and the next steps in the recruiting process. Overall, it was a good experience, and they seemed very open about everything.
