First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Shore Thing Marketing.
Account Manager
The whole thing took around 3 days. First, I had a one-on-one with the manager, and they were super open to any questions I had. The next interview was a bit more intense, focused on learning more about the company.
- What's something not on your resume that you can contribute to this company?
Account Manager
This job is a complete joke. They are full of garbage. It's commission based, which they had initially lied to me about. They offered me the position after the horrible interviewing process and I turned it down. They come off as a great, professional company. The fact is, they are liars, make everyone feel they are a perfect match, and pay horrible. Do yourself a favor and never except a sales job that is commission based. There are plenty of great sales jobs out there that offer great training and a competitive salary. I would not recommend Shore Thing Marketing to anyone, and I highly advise not wasting your time with them.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Account Manager
It's a general two step interview process. The first interview is about fifteen minutes long with a manager where they get a feel for you. The second interview is roughly an hour long process with a different manager where they describe the job in greater detail along with getting a better idea of you as a potential candidate.
