It was a two-part interview. The first interview was pretty short, mostly just a screening to see who you are. In the second interview, they talked about the job and chances to grow. They kind of avoided saying what the job really was the whole time, never explaining it well. I should have seen that as a warning, but internships are so hard to get these days. I didn't realize I'd been misled until my first day.

This job is a complete joke. They are full of garbage. It's commission based, which they had initially lied to me about. They offered me the position after the horrible interviewing process and I turned it down. They come off as a great, professional company. The fact is, they are liars, make everyone feel they are a perfect match, and pay horrible. Do yourself a favor and never except a sales job that is commission based. There are plenty of great sales jobs out there that offer great training and a competitive salary. I would not recommend Shore Thing Marketing to anyone, and I highly advise not wasting your time with them.

The first interview was 30 minutes and felt one-sided. They did most of the talking and didn't explain the job description well, so I'm still unclear about what the company does and the role itself.

It's a general two step interview process. The first interview is about fifteen minutes long with a manager where they get a feel for you. The second interview is roughly an hour long process with a different manager where they describe the job in greater detail along with getting a better idea of you as a potential candidate.
