Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Shoprite Group.
Cashier
The interview process was quite straightforward. It involved a phone call, a mouth swab test, and then an in-person interview. This was a while ago, but I found them to be a valuable company for gaining experience. I'd suggest them to others.
- How is my ability with numbers?
Cashier
This was a super long process, took ages and so much paperwork. They had me come in more than once and there was even more paperwork than they first said.
- What's your reason for wanting employment?
Cashier
The interview was quick and straightforward. They were very nice and made me feel comfortable. I was treated with kindness and respect. I would definitely recommend shoprite because the staff are friendly and helpful. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and involved scenario-based questions.
- What's your approach to resolving conflicts?
