The hiring process was very professional and went by quick. There were two rounds in total. The first was on Microsoft Teams and the second required me to come in person for a more in-depth conversation and was given a chance to speak.

Behavioral

It was a very straightforward interview focused on my experience and how I approach teaching international students, including my skills for both in-person and remote setups. The main challenge was the extensive paperwork required, more than at some colleges, including formal referrals from colleagues. Make sure your documentation is in order.

Presentation Behavioral

It was a virtual interview where I had to do a mini teach. One of the interviewers left midway through my presentation. After I understood more about the role, like having to reapply every year and only being paid for teaching without compensation for grading or marking assignments/lesson planning, I decided to withdraw my application.
