I was interviewed by a panel of four people. This panel included the principal, another administrator, and two teachers I would be working with. They asked me about my college and work experience with children. The interviewers also presented me with classroom scenarios and asked how I would handle certain situations.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I got an interview after applying for a teaching job and was told I was being considered for 6th grade Math, which I didn't apply for and don't want to teach. I interviewed with the Principal, Assistant Principal, and two other staff members. Even though I didn't want to interview for this specific role, I stayed. We had standard behavioral questions and then a role-play where I had to solve 3 math problems and then teach one to a student. The Principal wasn't very friendly, but everyone else was nice. It felt unorganized.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • What is the biggest problem in education today?
  • Teach one of these 3 math problems to a student who is struggling.
