The communication was slow and took a very long time to get a call back, which made me wonder if they were actually trying to hire someone or just wanted their team to be short-staffed. It took them six months before they even contacted me to set up the interview.

I applied online and got a call a few days later for an interview. I went to the interview and it was a bit harder than I anticipated. I was taken to a small room in the back, and there was another person observing, which made me nervous. The interview lasted about 20 minutes. They asked some basic questions like what I knew about Sheetz, where I saw myself in 5 years, to describe a team player, and my thoughts on the phrase "good enough". After the interview, I was told I'd hear back by the end of the week. I did get a call saying I didn't get the job because they thought I was better suited for a management role. I left with mixed feelings, unsure if I performed well.

I applied online and heard back the next day from a recruiter. They asked me about my previous jobs and why I was interested in Sheetz. We then set up an interview for the following day. I got to the Sheetz location 15 minutes early for my interview, and the cashier told me to grab a drink and wait in the dining area. My hiring manager came out, and after I stood up to shake her hand and introduce myself, we sat down. She asked me to talk about myself, including any hobbies or free-time activities. I was also given some scenario questions and asked about my availability. The interview took about 20-25 minutes, and at the end, she mentioned that she was interviewing people all week and that callbacks for a second interview would go out on Friday. I never got a call back.
