First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sheetz.
Cashier
It was a really fast interview, straight to the point. They asked about my previous work in retail and other jobs. All in all, it was a super simple and easy process compared to most other interviews I've had.
- Would you be open to working in different roles?
Cashier
The interview was pretty straightforward. I went in and they asked me some basic questions about my background and customer service. It was over in under 30 minutes. Everyone was really friendly.
- Can you tell me about a strength and a weakness?
Cashier
I applied online and got an interview offer within 2 days. My first interview was with a shift manager who seemed to like me. I was supposed to hear back that Friday, but after no call, I phoned them on Saturday and left a message. The following Wednesday, I got a call for an interview with the hiring manager. That interview went okay, and they asked the exact same questions as before. Again, I was supposed to get a call back that Friday. After 2 calls and messages, they finally called me two weeks later. They told me that since I'd never held a job before, I didn't have enough experience, and they had hired someone with previous work experience.
- What makes you want to work at Sheetz?
- Can you tell me about a time you got good customer service?
- Can you tell me about a time you got bad customer service?
