Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sheetz.
Salesperson
I submitted my application online and then about two and a half weeks later, a manager got in touch. They set up an interview for the earliest slot they had available. I attended the interview, and it lasted about 15 minutes. They asked about my availability for work hours, my school schedule, and how long I was looking to work there. They also went over the dress code, specifying what I could and couldn't wear, such as fake nails, visible tattoos, and piercings. The interviewer inquired about a drug test and mentioned they would contact me with their decision.

Salesperson
I applied online and then followed up. The store manager called me in for an interview. They offered me a drink and then asked me some questions about myself and my work history. They offered me the job, and then I had to do the background check process. It all took about a week from when they first called me, through the interview, and then getting the results back from the background and drug test.
- What did you like and dislike about your last job?
- When can you work?
- Have you worked with food or in a fast-paced place before?
