Software QA Analyst
I had one interview with the hiring manager, which I thought went great. About a month later, they told me hiring was paused due to upper management changes in Tennessee. It was disappointing because the job was perfect for my interests. Then in February, they reached out again saying hiring was back on. I reconnected with the recruiters and things started moving. It's been two weeks with no update, so I'm unsure what's happening. It definitely feels like something strange is going on there.
- Can you describe your most recent project?
- What makes you believe you're a good fit for this team?
- Could you answer some technical and troubleshooting questions?
Quality Engineer
The process started with a quick chat with the recruiter, then a more formal interview with the hiring manager. After that, I was given an assignment to do and had to make a powerpoint to show my results. But they didn't show up for the presentation meeting. The recruiter called me an hour after the meeting was supposed to start and said something came up, but it was pretty unprofessional not to even send an email to reschedule. I've tried to follow up but haven't heard back. It feels like they just wanted free work.
- How do you deal with goals that are always changing?
Quality Engineer
I met with two managers and gave a presentation. They asked very few questions and I was out in two hours max. I got a verbal offer later that day and a written offer the next day.
- Can you describe your experience with data collection?
- What data analysis techniques do you know?
