Got an invite really fast for a screening. The screening call was alright, but the interviewer seemed disengaged and intimidated when we talked about compensation (mine was way higher than they could pay). That was a big turn-off, so I knew right away I wasn't continuing.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I met with a panel of developers and external consultants and various Managers. This was all designed to see if I had a people skills fit and if I could handle the fact that processes are not documented. They also wanted to determine if I could work with different sets of personalities and if I understood manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.

Behavioral Other

The internal recruitment team mentioned an initial informal chat with the manager before a formal interview. However, the first call with the hiring manager was anything but informal. She rapidly asked numerous questions, but it was evident she wasn't fully updated on my work history, leading to many irrelevant questions. I felt she wasn't paying close attention to my responses, which was later confirmed by the strange feedback suggesting a department I have no experience in would be a better fit. During the interview, I noticed the manager discreetly texting, which I found extremely unprofessional.
