Program Manager Intern
the interview was pretty easy, mostly behavioral questions. They didn't ask specific PM questions. It started with introductions, then some behavioral questions, and finally, I got to ask them questions about the company.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
- How do you handle working under pressure?
- Tell me about your experience working in a multifunctional team.
Program Manager
So basically, the hiring manager didn't show up for our scheduled call, and communication was really bad, so I just withdrew my application. I had an initial chat with HR about the role and company culture, which was fine. It took them two weeks to get back to me after we talked about meeting the hiring manager the following week. We had to reschedule a later call because HR was 20 minutes late for a 30-minute chat. The hiring manager call was set for the next week, but he just didn't show up. I tried to contact HR by email and text after waiting 10 minutes, but it took them three days to respond.
- Could you tell me about what you do in your current job?
Program Manager
I got an initial phone screen, and the questions were pretty standard. They told me I was moving on, but then HR ghosted me a week later. Seriously, don't bother applying.
- Tell me about why you're interested in our company.
- What about this specific position caught your eye?
