The company has a long interview process. After it was over, they never got back to me, and they didn't respond to any of my follow-ups. It was really unprofessional and showed a lack of respect for my time, effort, and what I was expecting. It was a disappointing experience that doesn't reflect well on their values.

The recruitment team from Shark Ninja reached out via Linkedin, initiating a video interview with a recruiter. This was followed by a video interview with the Senior Design manager, where my design portfolio was reviewed and questions about relevant situations for the role were asked. The final stage was an in-person interview at their London HQ, which included a facility tour. During this final interview with a Design Director and two Design Managers, I presented the outcome of a design challenge assigned 10 days prior. This presentation was followed by queries regarding my abilities and motivation for the position. I wasn't offered the role because my skills leaned more towards creativity, whereas the open position required a more technically oriented candidate.

I had just one interview, it was with 2 engineering managers. They first talked about my experience, then we moved on to technical questions. We used a whiteboard to look at circuits and discuss things like TTL logic, zener diodes, how to design a basic power supply, and protocols like UART, SPI, and I2C.

Confirmed questions7 questions
  • Can you analyze these circuits?
  • What do you know about TTL logic?
  • Explain zener diodes.
